Former Red Trolley was purchased by the owner of Parisi and Firenze a Tavola, other Northwest Denver staples. We were big fans of Red Trolley, and were not nearly as impressed with the level of friendliness and tastiness of the gelato. The new restaurant is called Sputino, and means little snack in Italian. It seems their focus is a bit more on food and coffee, although they still offer gelato with the addition of fancy/fresh popsicle flavors.
