Gelato D'Italia is now closed! This is quite an unexpected bummer for the neighborhood. I imagine in the downturn they had fewer customers and couldn't keep up with rent, though perhaps there is another story.

They are still making Gilato D'Italia for Whole Foods so perhaps it was just a decision to shut one underperforming retail outlet to keep the rest of the business rolling along?

Tucked away in Cherry Creek North, Gelato D'Italia Cafe is a good place to stop and rest in the middle of a shopping trip. There's a nice outdoor patio with tables and umbrellas to enjoy a summer afternoon.
